Astar — Projects Overview #2
The Astar network has recently had a huge breakthrough on the number of projects being launched on their network. In this article, we are going to go over more projects that we didn’t cover in the first one. If you haven’t checked out the first article, click here. The projects we are going to cover are:

ArthSwap
To start off, ArthSwap is a type of one-stop-shop built on the Astar network. On their website, they have swapping, pools, farms, lending, bridging, and a faucet. This is a fantastic number of features and makes it easy for people that are looking for one website to do everything, and they have more planned (such as staking)! They are one of the bigger projects on the Astar network, their Twitter has 97,500 followers as of now. Their farms show that as well since the top three farms have over $25,000,000 in liquidity each.

Starlay Finance
Next we have Starlay Finance, which is the largest lending protocol on the Astar network. What they do is allow you to deposit money into their website and use that as collateral. You can then borrow funds from the website using that collateral and earn an APR depending on which strategy you like. Currently, they have $263,280,000 deposited in their website and $157,000,000 borrowed. There is plenty of money in the ecosystem to support a lot of people using their protocol and from what I can tell, they are ready for Astar to continue growing!

Alnair Finance
Lastly we have Alnair Finance, which is a yield optimizer platform. What they do is allow people to stake tokens in specialized vaults that automatically collect and re-stake the rewards. This achieves a compounding effect that works well for people that want to stake their tokens and leave them sit without having to check on them and harvest them all the time. On their Gitbook, they have this info-graphic which helps explain what they do further.
